While school is ending this week for many students in the state, an on-line high school is enrolling students from across the country who want to continue to study through the summer.

Transitioning from Online High School to College: How Virtual School Prepared Anna for College

Meet Anna Marie Ridenour, a 2011 Connections Academy online high school graduate, and learn more about how virtual school prepared her for college. As valedictorian of her class she received a full college scholarship for her outstanding academic records, higher education goals, participation in community and school activities like peer-to-peer math tutoring. Anna Marie now attends the College of Mount St. Joseph pursuing a degree in education and plans to become an online high school math teacher.
