This video is part 5 of a seminar, arising out of my PhD research on Educational Technology. The presentation challenges how we currently view and use technology for teaching teaching. Traditional applications of technology to teaching that simply replicate old pedagogies are not effective online. What is required is a rethinking, not only of the central industrial paradigm that has dominated teaching, but also the new principles and potential pedagogies that are emerging. The opportunities to use technology to support schools and higher education are immense, yet are we ready to make the necessary changes to our own views and approaches?
