UTeach emphasizes the development of deep content knowledge in STEM disciplines; inquiry- and project-based approaches to teaching; and develops in future teachers the habits of mind and practices of mathematicians, scientists and engineers. Together, more than 40 universities are working to strengthen university-based STEM teacher preparation nationally. ASEE TV travels to the University of Texas at Austin, where it all started.
